Established in 2018, The Lodge of the Golden Fleece Slipper is the only horse race in Australia associated with a Freemasons Lodge. The Worshipful Master & Secretary in 2018 both being members of the VRC (Victorian Racing Club), wanted to showcase the excitement and splendour of day at the races.

The Lodge of the Golden Fleece Slipper is held at the Kyneton Racing Club in the heart of the beautiful Macedon Ranges, renowned for it's "cool country climate", boutique shopping, restaurants, wineries and natural attractions.

 

The Kyneton Racecourse is often referred to as the “prettiest” country racecourse in Victoria, due to the picturesque landscape and the beautiful established elm trees, which line the track.
